My earliest event planning memories date back to when my parents first let me have a say in our family event themes as a young adult. A topsy-turvy Dr. Suess cake for my 12th birthday, Disney princesses for my little sister’s birthday (I was Belle), a pasta dinner night for my dance team (complete with Italian music and a gingham tablecloth), a beach luau for my older sister’s birthday, unique floral centerpieces and the neighborhood kids dressing up as catering staff for my Dad’s work anniversary… the list is endless. I have enjoyed creating and planning these special moments for well over a decade. When my fiancé proposed, I knew I wanted to take on the ambitious undertaking of a destination wedding. Over the course of about six months, I watched as my planning expertise rapidly evolved to a new level when I successfully planned my own destination wedding at Dunluce Castle, Northern Ireland. Since then, I have taken on larger projects for family, friends, and new clients including proposals, weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, baby/bridal showers, birthdays, and more! I am always looking forward to curating special memories centered around bringing people together.
Inspired by my favorite childhood summer memories at my grandparents’ home on Wisteria Lane in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Wild Wisteria Events emerged from my love of celebration and remembrance for all things big and small.
